Our client, an industry leader in water treatment and filtration, is seeking a Environmental Lab Technician to join their team. As a Environmental Lab Technician, you will be part of the Water Filtration Testing Department supporting research, development, and quality control initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Environmental Lab Technician
Location:Charlotte, North Carolina (100% on site)
Pay Range:$18 to $22
Duration:12 month contract - potential to extend or be converted
What’s the Job?- Perform chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
- Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results accurately.
- Follow established procedures and methods to ensure consistency and reliability in testing.
- Work collaboratively within a self-directed team environment to meet project goals.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as SEM, EDS, and TOC analyzers, ensuring proper calibration and safety protocols.
- Experience in a laboratory or technical environment in an academic or professional setting, with a focus on water filtration or related fields.
- Experience with equipment such as SEM, EDS, and TOC analyzers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of chemical usage, safety procedures, and water treatment analysis.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and skills, with training in inspection procedures or product lines preferred.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, with excellent communication and time management skills.
