This position offers a unique blend of field work, laboratory testing, customer interaction, and technical expertise.

You'll be the trusted resource helping our customers, operations teams, and leadership ensure every yard of concrete performs exactly as intended.

• Perform field and laboratory testing of ready-mix concrete
• Conduct slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and strength testing
• Observe concrete placements and monitor product performance in the field
• Review and evaluate concrete mix designs
• Accurately document and communicate test results
• Troubleshoot quality concerns and recommend solutions
• Educate customers on concrete performance, testing procedures, and mix design applications
• Maintain, calibrate, and inspect testing equipment
• Partner with operations, dispatch, and production teams to continuously improve quality
• Serve as a professional technical representative of Crete Solutions on job sites throughout the Charlotte market

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
  
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I Certification
• Strength Testing Technician and/or Laboratory Technician Certification
• 2+ years of concrete testing or quality control experience
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs and construction materials
• Experience working with contractors, inspectors, and construction professionals
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
