Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world’s aviation leaders. Our Creedmoor, NC site hosts a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group. We have over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, having more than doubled in size since 2019 and continuing to grow at pace.

This role reports to the Quality Engineering Supervisor and is based onsite in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

• Develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes.
• Develop and document quality procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure that the company's products and processes meet all applicable standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes.
• Resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Work with other departments to ensure the company meets all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage customer complaints/return material authorization (RMA) process.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in aerospace quality.
• Continuously improve the company's QMS.

• Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace quality engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards and FAA regulations.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving tools such as 8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be highly competent in Microsoft Office and project tools.
• Aerospace flight critical application experience preferred.
• J‑STD‑001 knowledge/understanding preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22.C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
• This position must meet export control compliance requirements.

$75,000‑90,000/yr based on experience.
