The position will join our Collins Plan-to-Sustain (PTS) team in support of the oneRTX:
Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project specifically focused on Collins Supplier Quality processes and requirements. oneRTX: PST aims to harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform - SAP's S/4
HANA and other critical boundary systems. Plan-to-Sustain workstream team oversees the Operations processes including Planning/SIOP, Production and Quality as well as associated Data & Analytics.
This is a hybrid-based position at one of Collins' major facilities.
What You Will Do- Support Collins on the oneRTX PST for the Supplier Quality processes, including Perform Supplied Material Quality Oversight, Supplied Material Quality Controls Material Quality Requirements, and Manage Alerts /Escapes Management as well as work closely with other work streams as applicable to support overall Quality processes.
- Partner with counterparts from RTX, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon, and system integrator in 2025 and 2026 to create future state process map and system configuration (Global and Local Blueprint).
- Intensive project phases will involve 25-50% travel, primarily to Richardson, TX and other major RTX hubs in the USA (e.g. Farmington, Cedar Rapids, Charlotte).
- Transition after Global RTX activities into more Collins-focused efforts such as Local Blueprinting and system Building, Testing, and Deployment.
Collaboration skills working across RTX BUs, DT and Collins org to rise to a standard solution. Future state of the business and Quality processes.
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. Must be a U.S. Person.
- 3+ years’ experience with Collins Supplier Quality management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at various level of the organization.
- Management in either PR1 (hRC) or PR0 (hUTAS) SAP ECC environment.
- Broad process fluency (Supplier Quality management).
- Experience with the mapping and training of business processes.
- Background in ERP/Systems transformation.
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP S/4
Hana and/or Supplier Quality processes and other associated Quality management systems.
