How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Execute and coordinate Supplier Quality Management activities for materials and components used in power transformer manufacturing, including electrical steel, copper, and insulation materials.
  • Lead collaborative Supplier Quality initiatives to support the Commodity strategy for both global and local suppliers.
  • Implement and oversee the Supplier Process and Product Qualification (SPPQ) process.
  • Conduct supplier audits in accordance with Integrated Management System standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Manage commodity-specific nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions while supporting risk analyses for product safety.
  • Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures and develop risk-based quality plans.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on supplier-designed components and elevate unresolved quality risks as needed.
  • Monitor SQM-related KPIs and propose enhancements to improve supplier performance.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering, preferably within the energy or power transmission sectors. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and quality management methodologies, with ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of materials used in power transformer manufacturing, such as electrical steel and insulation materials.
  • Strong proficiency with standard business software and a keen interest in digitalization and data-driven quality tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional language skills, such as Spanish, are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
