Sr QA Engineer

Our client seeks a Sr QA Engineer to champion quality across agile teams. The role will design and execute automated and manual tests, enforce QA standards, contribute to test automation frameworks, and integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with peers, review code for automated tests, document QA practices, and mentor team members on tools and methods to deliver reliable, value-add software solutions.

Rate: $43.00 to $47.00/hr. w2

• Recommend software testing solutions aligned to applied technologies.
• Ensure adherence to software Quality Assurance standards and processes.
• Create automated and manual test scripts.
• Collaborate with test automation team members to define guidelines, templates, and standards.
• Perform peer code reviews for automated test scripts.
• Implement software testing tools with CI/CD test execution.
• Teach Quality Assurance practices and tools to agile team members.
• Document Quality Assurance practices and processes.
• Participate in user story grooming with agile team members.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new technologies and processes.
• Maintain a positive, adaptable approach to change.
• Work independently as a self-starter and contribute to team success.

• 3 to 5 years as a Quality Assurance analyst in a technical environment.
• 3 to 5 years with test management tools such as Octane, Quality Center, or Azure Dev Ops.
• 3 to 5 years with UI test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, UFT, Test Project, or MS Test Studio.
• 3 years with Source-To-Target data integration and ETL testing.
• 3 years with API testing.
• 1 to 3 years of agile delivery in a matrixed organization.
• Proven experience with software test automation frameworks.
• Proven experience maintaining software testing tools and CI/CD test execution.
• Awareness of current Quality Assurance trends and best practices.
• Preferred: 3 years with API tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI (SoapUI Pro).
• Preferred: 3 years with performance testing tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, or ReadyAPI Performance.
• Preferred: 3 years with automated data validation tools such as Query Surge, Right Data, or Power Center.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through 5+ years of work experience.
• Preferred: 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
