Laboratory Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexibility to occasionally work outside of standard business hours is required.)

Position SummaryWe are seeking a hands‑on Laboratory Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role supports research, development, application engineering, and quality control by performing chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical testing on products and processes.
The ideal candidate has laboratory experience, enjoys working in a technical environment, and is comfortable performing both analytical and physical tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced laboratory instrumentation while contributing to innovative research and product development.
Responsibilities- Perform chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical analyses to support research, development, application engineering, and quality control.
- Conduct laboratory testing following established procedures, methods, and safety standards.
- Compile, analyze, interpret, and accurately document test results.
- Identify testing issues or discrepancies and communicate findings to team members.
- Assist with troubleshooting laboratory processes and equipment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical staff to support project objectives.
- Complete assigned work accurately while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous laboratory or technical experience.
- Strong mechanical and chemical aptitude.
- Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work both independently and within a team environment.
- Experience working in a physical chemistry laboratory.
- Coursework in:
- Physical Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Fluid Dynamics
- Thermodynamics
- Experience operating laboratory equipment such as:
- Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
- Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)
- Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer
- Experience with:
- Water filtration and water treatment
- Dissolved gas analysis
- Laboratory chemical handling and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
. - Comfortable working in laboratory and industrial environments where dust, dirt, and industrial fluids may be present.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.
$26.00 per hour
