The primary responsibilities of this role, Data Entry Specialist, are to:
- Plot entry and management for Field Sales Reps and Technical Agronomists in Trial Management on call crops (Corn, Cotton, Soybean, Sorghum)
- Cotton quality data entry once received from local gin; order all cotton tags and bags for cotton sample shipping
- Enter all university and third-party trials for cotton
- Manage plots in Trial Management throughout the season and work with Technical Agronomists to approve release to Marketing
- Train field-facing roles in use of Trial Management
- Collaborate with Technical Agronomists on management and analysis of product characterization data and build a system for crop protection data analysis
- Coordinate demo material shipping
- Responsible for delivering the highest quality field data as part of the sales and agronomy units
- Collaborate with unit support squad members from Agronomy and Marketing
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with Trial Management, PTP, Velocity, Scout
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capable of maintaining and working with large data sets
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team-based environment
- Experience with standard MS Office computer software systems used in scientific data analysis, with ability to quickly learn new software programs and tools
- Problem solving skills
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $53,730.40 – $80,595.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
