We engage experienced practitioners for both full‑time employment and project‑based contract roles, depending on the award and staffing model. Engagements are remote‑first with travel as required for partner and field sites. We build ready teams for live grant and sponsored‑research pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.
This opportunity is contingent upon grant or sponsored‑project award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate’s name or resume in a proposal or funding package.
WIL is seeking an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) / Cybercrime Training & Technical Assistance Specialist to strengthen investigative capacity, digital forensics readiness, and multi‑agency coordination for cyber‑enabled crimes against children — as applied research and TTA capacity for WIL grant packages.
What you’ll do:- Deliver training and technical assistance to law‑enforcement and multidisciplinary partners on ICAC and cyber‑enabled crimes against children
- Advise on investigative workflows, digital evidence handling, task‑force coordination, and technology‑enabled case support
- Develop curricula, job aids, and practice guides for investigators, analysts, and partner agencies
- Support peer learning, after‑action review, and continuous improvement across participating jurisdictions
- Contribute specialist qualifications and past‑performance narrative to WIL grant and sponsored‑research packages when permissioned
- Hands‑on experience investigating or supporting Internet Crimes Against Children, online child exploitation, or closely related cybercrime cases
- Experience delivering training or technical assistance to law‑enforcement or multidisciplinary justice partners
- Strong written and instructional skills for operational and research audiences
- Open to full‑time employment or project‑based contract engagement; remote‑first with travel as partner and field work requires
- ICAC Task Force, digital forensics, or cybercrime unit experience
- Familiarity with federal justice TTA models and multi‑state task‑force coordination
