Server Assistant

Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen, part of the Noble Food & Pursuits family, is a busy, casual upscale restaurant in Uptown Charlotte. We focus on straightforward, wood-fired cooking and friendly service that keeps our guests coming back.

We’re hiring a Server Assistant to help keep service running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support servers, run food, clear and reset tables, and take care of the details that make for a great guest experience. The position also offers room to grow into other roles within the restaurant for those interested in building a career in hospitality.

• Assist servers with all aspects of table maintenance, ensuring sections remain clean, stocked, and guest‑ready.
• Run food to tables promptly and accurately, communicating clearly with servers and kitchen staff.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guest, keeping pace with the flow of service.
• Anticipate guest needs, from water refills to table adjustments, always aiming to enhance the dining experience.
• Complete assigned sidework and station duties with consistency and accountability.

• A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Dependability and consistency in showing up ready to support both guests and coworkers.
• Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.

• Hourly position paying $12–$15/hour based on experience.
