Overview
The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring products are properly presented and stocked at assigned customer locations. This role supports the sales team by maintaining strong relationships with account managers, identifying account opportunities, and ensuring displays and inventory meet company and regulatory standards.

• Process and rotate deliveries, restocking cold boxes, displays, shelves, and backroom areas.
• Merchandise products based on product orders and planograms, building displays and assisting with promotional setups.
• Maintain backroom storage and product inventory records using the VIP merchandising application.
• Adhere to out-of-date beer policies, rotation standards, and accurate inventory levels.
• Communicate with sales consultants and presales personnel regarding out‑of‑stock situations and order fulfillment.
• Build and maintain friendly relationships with account managers, owners, and staff to identify new lead opportunities.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product activity; report findings to management.
• Visit each account on scheduled days for deliveries, stock checks, and weekend pull‑ups as per policy.
• Coordinate with merchandising supervisor to resolve customer issues, address competitive activity, and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Ensure proper loading and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, including safety and brand appearance.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress code and grooming standards.
• Attend scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including State ALE/ABC regulations.
• Support teamwork and cross‑department cooperation throughout the organization.

• High school education not required, but basic literacy and arithmetic skills are necessary.
• Up to 3 months experience in the beverage or a related field.
• Clean driving record or compliance with the company driving points policy.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds frequently.
• Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
• Team player who prioritizes group success over individual achievement.
• Demonstrates business acumen, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and security.
