Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 – $15.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Hallmark part‑time employees may access voluntary benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are 6–8 per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
The field merchandiser performs service work across various retail stores. The position consists of three major components:

Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory. Communicate with the supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Manage the entire Hallmark product display.

Provide additional days and extended hours during major holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Work may extend to the actual holiday day and weekends when necessary.

Participate in installations, fixture setup, relocation of card departments, and reset of card sections. Usually notified two weeks in advance; tasks may occur evenings or weekends.

Support other merchandiser teammates within the network as needed.
Work is physically demanding. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, throughout the day. Kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing are required. Climbing stairs and stepping ladders may also be necessary.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write and understand English.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency in operating a digital handheld device.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
