Outside attendant

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Golf Cart Outside Staff. This role is pivotal in creating a positive and memorable experience for our members and guests. As part of our outside services team, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, enjoyable, and seamless golfing experience, with a focus on member attentiveness and proactive service.

Your ability to anticipate needs and interact warmly with members will be key to success in this position.

Member Interaction:
Greet members and guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Engage in conversations and build rapport with regulars and new faces alike, creating an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.

Proactive Service: Anticipate the needs of members before they ask. Whether it’s offering water, providing an umbrella on a rainy day, or assisting with their golf bag, take initiative to ensure a smooth experience from start to finish.

Golf Cart Maintenance: Ensure that golf carts are clean, stocked, and properly maintained at all times. Double-check carts for proper equipment, such as scorecards, tees, sand for divots and pencils, and ensure carts are charged and ready for use.

Course Familiarity: Be knowledgeable about the golf course layout and facility, and amenities to provide accurate information to members and guests. Offer assistance with directions or suggestions.

Assisting with Loading/Unloading: Assist golfers with loading and unloading their bags onto carts, ensuring that the process is efficient and courteous on the podium position.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and the highest level of service.

Safety and Cleanliness:
Adhere to safety guidelines while operating golf carts, ensuring a safe and clean environment both for guests and team members.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for providing excellent service.

Positive attitude, energy, and enthusiasm for engaging with members, guests and other staff.

Must be proactive, observant, and able to anticipate member needs without being asked.

Ability to engage in casual conversation while maintaining professionalism.

Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and available to work different shifts as well as weekend days.

Previous experience in customer service or outdoor positions is a plus, but not required.

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to lift and carry golf bags, as well as maintain physical stamina throughout the shift.
