We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Shipping Container Sales Representative
to sell new and used shipping containers to commercial, industrial, and individual customers. The ideal candidate has strong sales skills, understands logistics or container markets, and can build lasting client relationships while managing deals from lead generation to close.
- Generate and qualify leads for new and used shipping container sales
- Manage container transactions between buyers, suppliers, depots, and logistics partners
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and transportation providers
- Educate clients on container types, conditions (new, one-trip, cargo-worthy, wind & watertight), pricing, and delivery options
- Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales
- Coordinate delivery logistics and ensure customer satisfaction through fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activity, and customer interactions in CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to remain competitive
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Proven experience in sales or business development (container, logistics, construction, or industrial sales preferred)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple deals simultaneously
- Comfortable with commission-based or performance-driven compensation
- Basic understanding of shipping containers, logistics, or freight (training may be provided)
- Proficiency with CRM tools, email, and basic sales reporting
- Reliable internet access and phone (for remote roles)
- Experience in shipping containers, freight, intermodal logistics, or construction materials
- Existing book of business or industry contacts
- Knowledge of container depots, ports, and transportation methods
- Bilingual abilities (a plus, not required)
- Entrepreneurial sales environment with uncapped earnings
- Supportive team and access to container inventory and logistics partners
