Job Title:Account Representative – Industrial & Mechanical Equipment
Location:Charlotte, NC (Greater Charlotte Area)
Compensation:$70,000 – $95,000 base salary, plus potential performance-based incentives/commissions (final compensation dependent on experience and technical background)
Employment Type:Full-Time | On-Site

We are a well-established industrial equipment and services provider specializing in power plant, heating, mechanical contracting, and industrial solutions. Our offerings include packaged boilers, industrial burners, heat exchangers, and related boiler plant equipment. With a strong presence across the Southeast, we deliver both new product solutions and aftermarket services, including parts, service, technical support, testing, and training.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated
Account Representative
to manage customer relationships throughout the Charlotte, NC market. The ideal candidate will identify customer needs, provide technical solutions, and drive sales of both new equipment and aftermarket services. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to support growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate leads for new equipment sales, service opportunities, and ongoing construction projects.

  • Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with key accounts.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical information, and prepare quotes.

  • Conduct job site visits and collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate with inspectors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.

  • Negotiate pricing, process orders, and manage project documentation.

  • Promote products and services through seminars, trade shows, and industry events as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Prior experience in account management or technical sales.

  • Strong working knowledge of boiler systems, packaged boilers, heat exchangers, or industrial equipment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.

  • Willingness and ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other sales/CRM software is preferred.
