Order Processing Specialist

Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid 2-3 Days/Week (El Segundo, CA) | $35/hr

A growing beauty and consumer products company is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to support a highly collaborative Sales Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing high-volume sales order processing, ensuring accurate order execution, and partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Planning teams to keep business running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Net Suite experience
, strong Excel skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where initiative, problem solving, and collaboration are highly valued. Beauty industry experience is preferred, though strong candidates from CPG, health & wellness, or other consumer products industries will also be considered.

• Process and manage high-volume sales orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain order, customer, and inventory data within Net Suite
• Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Sales Planning teams to ensure seamless order execution
• Monitor order flow, inventory availability, shipping timelines, and customer requirements
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, fulfillment issues, and operational challenges
• Generate and analyze reports using Excel to support sales and operational decision making
• Assist with process improvements and identify opportunities to increase efficiency
• Support cross-functional projects and additional sales operations initiatives as needed
• Build strong working relationships across multiple departments and stakeholders
• Contribute to a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture

• 2+ years of experience in order processing, sales support, customer operations, or sales operations
• Net Suite experience is required
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, filtering, and reporting
• Experience processing a high volume of customer or sales orders
• Beauty industry experience highly preferred
• CPG, health & wellness, or consumer products experience strongly desired
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Curiosity around AI tools and technology-driven process improvements is a plus
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week in El Segundo
