Catering and Corporate Sales

Sunflour Baking Company - Charlotte, NC

Sunflour Baking Company is a Charlotte bakery with multiple locations across the city and an established catering and corporate gifting business. We're expanding our sales function and looking for a self-motivated representative to build relationships with local businesses and event planners and drive new catering and corporate gifting revenue.

This is an opportunity to build and shape a new sales function at an established local brand.

• Proactively reach out to local offices, businesses, event planners, HR/office managers, and property managers to introduce Sunflour's catering and corporate gifting programs
• Build and manage a simple pipeline of leads and follow-ups
• Represent Sunflour at local networking events, Chamber of Commerce mixers, and community business gatherings
• Route qualified catering leads to our Store locations
• Route qualified corporate gifting leads to our corporate gifting coordinator
• Provide a weekly report on outreach activity, pipeline, and results
• Represent the Sunflour brand professionally in every interaction

• Prior experience in catering sales, B2B sales, or hospitality sales strongly preferred
• Comfortable with cold outreach - calls, email, and in-person visits
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-directed and organized - this role has real autonomy and requires someone who can manage their own schedule and pipeline
• Reliable transportation
• Based in or near Charlotte, NC

• Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours/week, flexible schedule
• Hourly base rate plus commission on new catering and corporate gifting revenue you generate
• Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the sales pipeline builds
