To support our continued growth in North America, we're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience in OEM environments to drive business development and provide technical expertise to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new opportunities in the market aligned with company objectives;
- Build strong relationships with strategic customers, ensuring retention and business expansion;
- Act as tehcnical support, understanding custmer manufacturing processes and recommending adhesive solutions that improve performance and efficiency;
- Collaborate closely with internal team to develop and validate customized solutions for customer applications;
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and commercial terms;
- Coordinate tests to approve Colquimica Adhesives;
- Develop account plans, sales forecasts, and periodic reports;
- Track trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering or similar field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical sales, application engineering, product engineering or business development role within an OEM or adhesives industries
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, converting technologies, and industrial adhesive applications.
- Experience leading product qualification, validation, and specification projects.
- Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders and translate customer requirements into value-added solutions.
- Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Availability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
