National Account Sales Representative

Summation of Job Description

Responsible for developing and maintaining conveyor broiler, toaster, Thermo Glo' and ventilation national key accounts. Calls on specified existing customers, presents new concepts and products, provide solutions to sales problems, develop a new customer base and develop sales forecasts. Arrange demonstrations, meetings and start-ups with customer officials as required. Performs routine clerical duties for specified accounts required to receive, process, and complete orders, using standard forms and following routine procedures.

May receive orders from customers via fax, e-mail or in person. Enter information such as stock number, quantity and price on acknowledgements to customers of order completion. Duties include records, investigating problems/complaints, following policies, preparing responses, correct records, coordinating shipments from factory to construction site, order entry and providing general information. Refers unusual or complex problems to Supervisor for assistance or resolution.

Requires a minimum of 2 years' sales experience and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

• Strict adherence to Company policies, confidentiality agreement, code of ethics and rules of conduct.
• Sales responsibilities to all customers.
• Will be in constant communication with Customer Service.
• Will attend trade shows, meetings and/or conferences for assigned accounts. Cost for these, if any, must be pre-approved by President.
• Will prepare monthly account updates for President.
• Must have intimate knowledge of each customer's status including but not limited to:
  Sales growth, opportunity to purchase additional items from company, account status, i.e. current pay, slow pay, delinquent, chain of command for management, contact, phone/fax/email, etc
• Customer Satisfaction to include service, delivery, and after-sale issues.
• Maintain customer database for selected accounts.
• Follow Policies and Guidelines for responding to account requests.
• Communicate with accounts clearly, efficiently and pleasantly.
• Prospect, qualify and sell our cataloged products to new customers.
• Take cold calls and quote equipment to specified customers.
• Ensure all correspondence is properly documented to each customer file for future reference.
• Efficient and knowledgeable with Power flex, MS Word, MS Excel and MAS Forms.
• Travel is required for face-to-face customer meetings and participation in selected trade shows.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity.
• Close attention to detail, deadline criticality, organizational skills, regular work hours and attendance are required for this position.
• Special projects and other duties assigned.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment with regular interaction between the engineering office and production floor. Occasional overtime may be required to support project deadlines and business needs.
