Contract

Hire Art is helping a global leader in AI development find an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support an initiative focused on acquiring real enterprise datasets directly from the companies that own them. This is a high-volume outbound role focused on reaching a large number of companies and converting interested prospects into data partners.

In this role, you’ll be part of a high-velocity outbound team focused on making meaningful contact with a large number of companies. The work is phone-heavy and volume-driven. You will be given a strong offer to bring to market and real flexibility on terms, and your job is to get companies to the table.

Compensation for this role includes a base rate of $28 per hour, plus a three-tier commission structure.

As an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll:

  • Run high-volume outbound outreach — primarily phone, supported by email — to companies across a wide range of industries and sizes.
  • Pitch the data partnership: what we are asking for, what the company gets, and why the terms are favorable.
  • Qualify inbound interest and move interested companies through the early stages of the pipeline.
  • Walk companies through their first step: compiling an inventory of their IT systems and associated data volumes, and submitting it through our intake portal.
  • Hand off qualified companies cleanly for NDA execution and pricing.
  • Log activity and outcomes consistently so the team can measure conversion and refine pricing assumptions.
  • Feed market signal back to the team: what objections you hear, what pricing lands, which sectors respond.

Follow clear guidelines when discussing the partnership:

  • Describe the partnership and general offer, but do not commit to pricing or contract terms. Final terms are handled by the commercial and legal teams.
  • Follow approved scripts and objection-handling guidance when discussing the partnership.
  • Clearly communicate that any terms discussed are subject to a definitive written agreement.

Follow strict data-handling requirements:

  • Do not receive company data, samples, or exports before an NDA is executed.
  • If a prospect offers to share data early, stop and escape.
  • Flag and elevate conversations involving personal customer data, third-party data held under contract, regulated health data, or trade secrets.
Requirements
  • SaaS or enterprise sales experience, including experience selling into large organizations and engaging with IT, data, operations, or other technical business stakeholders
  • Outbound sales experience, including BDR, SDR, inside sales, telesales, or similar work. Comfortable managing high-volume outreach and handling rejection
  • Clear, professional verbal communication. Ability to communicate clearly with U.S. businesses and establish credibility with senior buyers
  • Judgment on the phone. Ability to read a conversation, handle skeptical operations or IT leaders, and know when to elevate rather than oversell
  • Clean documentation habits. Ability to maintain accurate notes on conversations, commitments, and outcomes, particularly when legal review is involved
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience selling to IT, data or operations buyers
  • Prior work in a commission-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM and outbound tooling
  • Experience in a role where legal or compliance sign-off gated the deal
  • 96 hours of PTO accrued per year at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked
  • 13 paid holidays
  • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs
  • Hire Art covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401k package
Commitment

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. The role is remote and available to U.S.
