Lab Technician

Our client, an industry leader in scientific research and development, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the scientific support department, supporting research and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** First Shift Sunday - Saturday 7 days

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

+ Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results accurately.

+ Follow established procedures and methods to ensure consistency and quality in testing.

+ Work in a hands-on environment, lifting up to 50 lbs and operating various laboratory equipment.

+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

** What's Needed?*
* + Experience working in a laboratory or technical environment is required.

+ Good mechanical and chemical aptitude with specific training in inspection procedures or related fields is preferred.

+ Familiarity with equipment such as SEM, EDS, and TOC analyzers is helpful.

+ Background in physical chemistry or coursework related to chemical sciences is highly desirable.

+ Must be flexible to work outside regular hours occasionally and be able to work in environments with dust, dirt, and industrial fluids.
