Security Officer - Residential Patrol PT in Charlotte, NC — as a Part-Time Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and support access control while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will bring a customer-first approach while reporting concerns and assisting with alarm response as needed. You will have opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 21:00 - 05:00;
Sat 21:00 - 05:00

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly, assist with de-escalation, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter points; understand that working environments may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, or policy violations.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol observations; communicate key information to oncoming personnel and site management.

• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
