WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Reporting to the Security Manager:

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other people to maintain security and safety of the premises.
Keep records / reports of daily activities and authorized people entering and exiting the area.
Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
Document irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
Authenticate and ensure that only authorized vehicles are in compound and secure areas.
Warn people of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back of house security protocol with all crew and guests.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

High school diploma or equivalentexperiencerequired
Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred

Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in abusinessenvironmentandenforcement procedures.
Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Acute sense of judgment,tactanddiplomacy
A strong senseof teamwork and ability to execute programs
Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs,liftingandcarrying 50lbs+ and occasional sitting
Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours, without the use of electronic devices or other distractions

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Working environment is fast paced, often loud and stressful
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
Must be able to lift or move up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
Position works at an outdoor venue during inclement weather as needed
