Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed CPO Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an Armed Patrol Officer. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and verify credentials, visitor information, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders for an armed patrol assignment.
Maintain readiness for an armed post by following training, equipment handling, and reporting requirements, while supporting law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

This position is a CPO role.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
