Job OverviewThe Security Intelligence Executive is a senior leader within the bank’s Global Corporate Security & Executive Protection function. The role oversees a globally distributed intelligence capability that operates 24/7, proactively identifying risks and providing strategic and tactical intelligence to senior leadership.
Responsibilities- Develop overall security strategy, policies, and standards to protect employees, visitors, and bank property.
- Plan and prepare for crisis response, workplace violence, and other emergency events.
- Ensure application of professional best practices in physical security and life safety programs.
- Organize resources to achieve group goals and objectives.
- Identify and report significant issues and develop recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain relationships with all lines of business in the region, ensuring clarity of roles and proper escalation.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement, regulators, and industry counterparts to share intelligence and enhance security programs.
- Define and execute the bank’s enterprise-wide security intelligence strategy.
- Lead, develop, and scale a global team of Intelligence Analysts, Researchers, and Travel Safety Specialists.
- Establish intelligence priorities, collection requirements, and analytic standards.
- Drive innovation in intelligence capabilities using technology, data analytics, and external partners.
- Oversee continuous monitoring of geopolitical, criminal, cyber‑adjacent, reputational, and environmental threats.
- Assess immediate and emerging risks, translating intelligence into actionable insights.
- Provide forward‑looking analysis on global trends to inform enterprise risk management and business continuity.
- Lead Protective Intelligence program focused on protecting Executive Management and other principals.
- Monitor and analyze potential threats to executives, including physical, reputational, and cyber‑related risks.
- Partner with Executive Protection, Major Events Security, Threat Management, Cyber, HR, Legal, and Communications to coordinate risk mitigation.
- Use technology and AI to improve risk response.
- Deliver real‑time intelligence analysis and briefings during critical incidents and crises.
- Serve as key advisor in crisis management, ensuring informed decision‑making.
- Produce executive‑level reporting and briefings tailored to senior stakeholders.
- Build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders across Global Corporate Security, Risk, Compliance, Business Continuity, HR, and Communications.
- Engage government agencies, law enforcement, industry groups, intelligence providers, and peer institutions.
- Influence business leaders on risk mitigation strategies informed by intelligence insights.
- Break down barriers to create an inclusive environment that supports company Great Place to Work goals.
- Challenge process efficiency, champion data‑driven decision‑making, and remove obstacles.
- Contribute to enterprise strategy and influence messaging to link team contributions to business purpose.
- Inspect and challenge risk controls, governance, and culture to ensure timely risk identification and remediation.
- Coaching to sustain and elevate organizational performance and performance‑based pay.
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently to drive profitability.
- Manage bench health for succession and support enterprise talent needs.
- Mobilize resources to deliver the bank’s capabilities, gaining competitive advantage.
