Security Officer Roving Premises Patrol – Charlotte, NCAs a Security Officer Roving Premises Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients across a variety of industries such as commercial real estate. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. You will also work in a team that values integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

Job Schedule- Friday: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and communicate details to property management and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points, observe building activity, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or potential hazards according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by documenting observations, completing incident reports, and assisting with security‑related questions or directions.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Minimum age 21.
- Guard card or license preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
