Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Shift in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Tuesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Wednesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
- Support security-related operations at a financial institution by maintaining a visible presence, documenting incidents, and assisting with response activities during opening, closing, and daily business operations.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
