Security Officer Patrol Assessor – Charlotte, NC
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Monday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Tuesday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
What You’ll Do:- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures, employee screening practices, and/or delivery coordination in alignment with location requirements.
- Support staff and visitors by providing directions, answering general questions, and communicating observed issues to the appropriate contact in a timely manner.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, and/or military experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
