As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative approaches.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, banking areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while handling assigned equipment in accordance with company policy, applicable laws, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
