Security Officer Patrol Route Accountability in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, parking facilities, loading areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following established protocols for technology equipment areas and other restricted locations.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
