Security Project Manager

A technology company is looking to hire a Data Center Security Integration Project Manager. This team member would over see security integration (CCTV, Access Controls, alarms, etc.) and installation from third party vendors in a data center environment in Charlotte, NC metro. This is a 24 month contract + extensions land will require site walks at the construction site 2-3 times per week.

The Senior Security Project Manager leads critical physical security projects across a Fortune 10’s global datacenter infrastructure. This role involves designing and overseeing the deployment of security systems (e.g., access control, surveillance, alarms), managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely, compliant delivery of services. The position requires strong collaboration, project management, and technical expertise to support Microsoft’s mission of secure and scalable cloud operations.

• 4+ years in security program or project management
• 4+ years of site/construction management experience
• 4+ years managing physical security system deployments
• Experience with security systems in datacenters or critical infrastructure
• Strong communication and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven process improvement
• Hands-on experience with security system integration and technical oversight
