As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and support a welcoming, professional environment. You will use computer and access control systems, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery authorizations, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help restrict unauthorized access to the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support orderly movement of employees, delivery drivers, and commercial vehicles in accordance with site policies and established traffic-flow procedures.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
