As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Access Coordination in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain awareness of changing conditions at the location.

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
