Overview
Academy Busis seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for our Charlotte, NC location. $2500 Sign On Bonus! AM & PM shifts available. Earn $21.00-$26.00 per hour. Pay rate based on candidate experience level.
Responsibilities- Repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses
- Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
- General lubrication functions such as:
Oil/filters, air filters, chassis lubrication, transmission fluids/filters, differential fluids, axel/wheels. - Inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components under supervision such as:
Brake components, suspension components, tires, and seats. - Warranty and repair documentation
- Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work
- 1-4 years of hands on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred
- Minimum personal tool value $2000
- Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks and testing instruments
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
