Your Mission: Are you a hands-on individual with a passion for mechanics and a desire to learn and grow in your career?

WMH is looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Mechanic/Technician to join our team! You will gain valuable experience performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of material handling equipment, contributing to the efficiency and success of our clients  operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Assist with regular maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
  • Learn Diagnostic Techniques: Work under the guidance of experienced technicians to develop your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer Service: Assist in providing excellent customer service by learning to communicate effectively with clients about the status and needs of their equipment.
  • Documentation: Help maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours, in compliance with company standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions and stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in mechanics or related fields is a strong plus.
  • Skills & Technical Knowledge: Foundational mechanical knowledge with eagerness to learn. Familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment is valued. High potential to grow into mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise.
  • Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-first mindset. Ability to build trust and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Quick to adapt and eager to troubleshoot issues. Curiosity and resourcefulness.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, and shop settings).

    Certifications:

    Valid driver’s license required. Forklift maintenance/repair certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
