Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is searching for a hands‑on, experienced Shop Foreman/Heavy Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, and install components, as well as oversee daily heavy equipment repairs performed by the shop technicians. Use your expert mechanical skills and previous leadership experience to promote a safe, friendly, and efficient shop environment in this full‑time, benefits‑eligible role.

• Hourly pay: $35-$45 (based on experience)

  Full-time, Monday–Friday

  No nights or weekends

• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and practical expertise through hands‑on experience with heavy equipment
• Actively assist technicians with diagnosis and repair of equipment; personally inspect major repair jobs for proper completion and quality
• Support, coach, and guide technicians to increase their knowledge and develop their skills
• Partner with the Service Manager to create work schedules, delegate work appropriately, and maintain shop productivity
• Ensure a high quality of repairs with minimal mistakes and re‑work
• Utilize expert knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair equipment, certifications a plus
• Promote and enforce a safe, clean, and organized shop environment

• Previous experience as a shop foreman, lead technician, or senior heavy equipment technician preferred
• Strong hands‑on background diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (hydraulic and electrical expertise required)
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technicians in a fast‑paced environment
• Solid communication and organizational skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
