Service Technician (Automotive Repair Equipment)
Full‑time, field‑based in the Charlotte, NC region. $25–$28 per hour, depending on experience and certification.

Position Overview
An experienced, field‑based Service Technician will service customer locations across the Charlotte, NC region, ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of essential automotive shop equipment.
- $25–$28 per hour, based on experience, technical skill level, and certifications.

- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to prevent equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Service automotive lifts, Robinair equipment, air compressors, used oil heaters, and related garage equipment.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed service documentation and reports.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics and repair recommendations.
- Represent Auto Tech professionally at customer locations.
- Manage daily service schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 2 years of related experience (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently in a field‑based role.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte region.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work in shop environments and outdoors.
