Position Overview
An experienced, field‑based Service Technician will service customer locations across the Charlotte, NC region, ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of essential automotive shop equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to prevent equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Service automotive lifts, Robinair equipment, air compressors, used oil heaters, and related garage equipment.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed service documentation and reports.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnostics and repair recommendations.
• Represent Auto Tech professionally at customer locations.
• Manage daily service schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 2 years of related experience (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based role.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte region.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to work in shop environments and outdoors.
