Founded in 1988, Moisture Loc provides waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage, and structural foundation services including foundation repair. The primary service region is the Charlotte Metropolitan area. Services are provided for existing homes as well as new residential construction. • Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicle
• Traveling ON TIME to scheduled projects using a company vehicle
• Taking accurate measurements and cutting wood for structural repairs
• Replacing or repairing wood girders, floor joists, sill plates and outer rim joists
• Digging footings, pouring concrete, building CMU piers and building supplemental drop girders
• Utilizing jack systems to lift and flatten sagging floors
• Working with pressure treated lumber, engineered wood products and fasteners
• Operating power tools, saws, cutting tools, drills and jacks
• Accurately following the scope of work and being able to read structural drawings
• Following OSHA regulations, building codes and company safety protocol

• Ability to pass pre‑employment screening including a background check
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Able to start work at 7 am and work to 5 pm, Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday

• Previous experience in carpentry, framing and foundation repair preferred, particularly in the fields of construction and home improvement
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
• Knowledge of building codes

• Work is typically performed on all types of foundations and can include working in tight spaces and under houses
• Work requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, lifting up to 50 lb., loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment for prolonged periods
