Your Role:Electrical Superintendent
Fountain Services, LLC () is headquartered in Spindale, North Carolina, with additional offices in Charlotte, Hickory, Asheville, and Greenville. We serve customers across the western, piedmont, and metrolina regions of North Carolina and the upstate of South Carolina. This position supports the growth of our workforce through leadership, mentorship, and continuous skill development.
Compensation & BenefitsPay: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
After a 90‑day introductory period, employees receive paid vacation, paid holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k with employer match, and use of a company vehicle with fuel card.
Minimum Experience Requirements- 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including at least 4 years as a foreman, superintendent, or similar supervisory role
- Experience overseeing multiple foremen/crews on large or multiple concurrent construction jobs; preference for work on projects exceeding $1 million
A superintendent may be required to work on their tools with crews as well as perform administrative duties. Candidates must lift 50+ pounds, work on ladders or scaffolds, perform overhead work, and handle repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending. They must work safely in varied climate conditions and possess good balance, depth perception, eye‑hand coordination, and stamina.
Additional Requirements and Expectations- High School diploma or GED
- Pass a mandatory drug screen and background check
- Preferred training from an apprenticeship or similar program, or trade/technical school
- Relevant licenses and/or certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi‑task and work well under time constraints
- Oversee, coordinate, lay out, and manage on‑site installation of electrical wiring, systems, controls, equipment, and fixtures
- Collaborate with project managers and foremen to ensure successful and profitable project completion
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and other contract documents
- Plan and lay out work with project managers and project engineers
- Communicate and interface with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades
- Direct, train, and mentor foremen and junior leaders
- Ensure foremen implement the company “leader‑board” system and meet daily job reporting requirements
- Act as liaison between project manager and site leadership
- Perform overall project QA/QC
- Lead and manage multiple 6–10 person crews and direct the work of multiple foremen or projects
