This position offers the opportunity to travel, solve challenging technical problems, build lasting customer relationships, and continually expand your technical skills while working with industry-leading equipment.
What You’ll DoAs a Field Service Technician, you’ll work directly with customers throughout the United States and Canada to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery. Every week presents new challenges, different manufacturing environments, and opportunities to make a real impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair industrial granulators and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and machine health assessments.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control logic.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support.
- Prepare service reports and quotations for replacement parts and field service.
- Recommend solutions that reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Build strong relationships with customers through professionalism, communication, and technical expertise.
- Maintain accurate documentation while following company and customer safety procedures.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys helping customers succeed.
Preferred qualifications include:- Five or more years servicing industrial machinery or related equipment
- Technical school, vocational training, or equivalent experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with industrial machinery
- Experience with 480V electrical systems is a plus
- Experience troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is highly desirable
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service attitude
This position requires approximately 50–75% travel.
