American Equipment HR LLC (AmQuip Crane Rental) is seeking a Crane Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mobile and stationary cranes for construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects. In this field-based role, you'll perform inspections, diagnostics, and corrective repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while strictly adhering to OSHA and company safety standards. You'll travel to customer sites, document all work performed, collaborate with dispatch and project teams, and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mobile and stationary cranes at customer and job sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/PLC systems to restore safe crane operation
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks in accordance with OSHA, manufacturer, and company standards
- Document all work performed, parts used, and inspection findings accurately and on time
- Collaborate with dispatch, project managers, and crane operators to plan and prioritize field service work
- Communicate clearly with customers on findings, repair options, and safety concerns
- Support safe rigging, lifting, and lockout/tagout practices on every job
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to stay current on crane technology and regulations
- Maintain company tools, service truck, and equipment in safe, reliable condition
- Assist with emergency and after-hours service calls as needed to support customer operations
