Join a busy Charlotte team installing and maintaining electrical systems on commercial, healthcare, education, and life-science projects. You'll work on-site across the Charlotte area, using blueprints and schematics to deliver safe, code-compliant installations and reliable service. This role is hands-on and safety-focused. If you bring strong troubleshooting skills, construction experience, and a professional work ethic, you'll fit right in. Expect project-based work, teamwork with superintendents and engineers, and opportunities for skills growth and site-based training.
What you'll do Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment to local, state, and national code
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to lay out work and install systems accurately
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on lighting, power, standby and emergency systems
Install and test overcurrent protection, panels, conduit, raceways, and other components; perform quality inspections
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule and meet client expectations
What we're looking for8+ years of construction electrical experience on commercial projects (healthcare, education, life-science a plus)
Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Strong troubleshooting skills for safety, amperage, wear-and-tear, and system faults
Knowledge of building codes, overcurrent device selection/installation, and standby/emergency systems OSHA 30 certification and valid driver's license with reliable transportation; state license preferred
Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification Journeyman-level electrical experience or journeyman credential
State electrician license preferred (not required)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
