Job Description

A Service Technician plays a vital role in maintaining safe, clean, and fully operational pool environments. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently, solving problems in the field, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining multiple aquatic facilities each day while delivering excellent customer service. Using a company vehicle, the technician will travel to 5–8 facilities daily to monitor water quality, ensure proper equipment performance, and maintain a standard of cleanliness and overall safety. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently service and maintain 5–8 aquatic facilities per day using a company vehicle
  • Inspect pools, equipment, and surrounding deck areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper operation
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and identify mechanical or operational issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and report needed repairs or hazards promptly
  • Communicate professionally with clients, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to ensure timely repairs and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and follow established operational procedures
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of aquatic facility operations and safety standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning, maintenance, and equipment-handling tasks
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working in aquatic, recreational, or facilities maintenance environments
  • Familiarity with pool equipment, water chemistry, and maintenance procedures
  • Previous customer-facing or field-based service experience
