Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a Mechanic to keep our construction and landscaping fleet running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, loaders, mowers, and small engines, performing both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs. You'll support field crews by minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safe operation, and maintaining detailed service records. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair landscaping and construction equipment including trucks, loaders, mowers, and small engines
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, lubrication, and safety checks on all fleet and power equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and service manuals
  • Maintain accurate repair logs, parts usage records, and communicate equipment status to supervisors
  • Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and OSHA regulations in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Assist with equipment setup, modifications, and field repairs at job sites to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with operations and field teams to prioritize repairs and keep projects on schedule
  • Order, track, and organize parts, tools, and shop inventory to support efficient repair operations
