Lawn Care Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Lawn Care Technician for a company based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel around the country and work with a team that helps customers handle their weed and vegetation overgrowth. This will be a direct hire position with fast-growing business, and you will be eligible for their internal benefits such as health care from day one.
PayRate
$17.0 – $20.00 depending on experience
Schedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm but hours can vary based on the weather
Lawn Care Technician Duties and Responsibilities- Apply Herbicides using backpack sprayers, UTV Mounted Nozzles or Hose System.
- Walk powerlines and spray brush as needed.
- Drive UTVs through solar fields and spraying turf.
- Navigate drainage canals while handing spray hoses.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices.
- Valid Driver License and compliant Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and other physical requirements such as walking long distances.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Previous experience in outdoor labor preferred.
- Must be willing to travel for work and stay on site for extended periods.
