We are looking for experienced technicians who can hit the ground running. Candidates must be professional, technically strong, dependable, and comfortable communicating directly with customers when needed.
Responsibilities Install, terminate, dress, label, and test commercial structured cabling systems.
Perform CAT5e/CAT6 installations from rough-in through testing and closeout.
Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, J-hooks, cable tray, and other support systems.
Build out and organize MDF/IDF closets.
Read and follow blueprints, prints, cable schedules, and project documentation.
Troubleshoot cabling issues and complete work with minimal supervision.
Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and other trades onsite.
Lead or assist other technicians depending on experience level.
Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations.
Follow all customer, project, and site-specific safety requirements.
Requirements4+ years of commercial structured cabling experience.
Strong mid-level to lead-level technical skills.
Must be able to hit the ground running with minimal training or supervision.
Strong experience with CAT5e/CAT6 pulling, termination, dressing, labeling, and testing.
Experience with racks, cabinets, pathways, and MDF/IDF buildouts.
Ability to read blueprints and project documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance and communication skills.
Must be comfortable speaking directly with customers when needed.
Stable work history is strongly preferred.
Resume must accurately reflect project experience, responsibilities, and dates of employment.
Must be open to occasional regional travel.
Current Project Environments Automotive dealerships in Concord and Northlake.
Atrium Health hospital projects in Uptown Charlotte.
Charlotte Latin School.
Additional major commercial projects coming online throughout the region.
