You’ll be the go-to expert who keeps our CNC and NC machine tools running flawlessly. From the first status walk-through to end-of-shift handoff, you’ll troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems so production stays on schedule and downtime stays low.
Expect to move between complex diagnostics, precision calibrations, data-driven PMs, and parts planning—owning the health of the equipment that powers Siemens Energy’s manufacturing.
Your impact
Pinpoint and fix performance issues across multi-disciplinary systems: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication.
Execute structured electrical preventive maintenance using check-sheets; apply alignment verification methods, interpret results, and coordinate follow-up corrections.
Install, repair, test, and calibrate AC/DC systems—motor-start circuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot devices, pressure/limit switches, and solenoid valves.
Identify needed replacement components and submit timely material requisitions to keep assets online.
What you’ll bring
Successful completion of the Electrician A Test.
Working knowledge of Siemens 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls.
Training and familiarity with LOTO procedures and high-voltage systems.
At least 3 years of hands-on electrician experience.
High School Diploma (or equivalent). Relevant military or technical school training is welcomed.
Ability to meet role-specific physical and screening requirements: vision correctable to 20/40, capable of lifting over 25 lbs, able to pass a hearing test, and a Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status is required.
