Field Service Technician

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
• Communicate with customers as a first-line response
• Organize and triage customer issues and resolve problems proactively
• Work with dedicated teachers, mentors, and coaches across service territories

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel, driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Flexible shift work, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times and some holidays
• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects
• Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail environments

Demonstrates expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical equipment, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Capable of performing physical tasks and adapting to flexible work schedules, including travel and varied shifts.
