Electrical Warehouse Associate/Driver (Charlotte, NC)

Skilled Trades Services is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Electrical Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver for a full-time opportunity in the Charlotte, NC area.

This position is ideal for someone who has experience working in a warehouse or electrical supply environment and is comfortable making deliveries to active construction job sites. The right candidate must be able to safely drive a 1⁄2-ton pickup truck while pulling a trailer loaded with electrical materials and supplies.

• Receive, organize, stock, pull, and stage electrical materials and supplies
• Prepare orders for delivery to construction job sites
• Load and unload electrical materials, tools, equipment, conduit, wire, and other supplies
• Safely operate a 1⁄2-ton pickup truck while pulling a trailer
• Make scheduled deliveries to electrical construction job sites throughout the Charlotte area
• Secure materials and equipment properly before transport
• Verify deliveries and ensure the correct materials reach the appropriate job site
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
• Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
• Communicate professionally with warehouse staff, field supervisors, electricians, and customers

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Previous experience working with electrical products, materials, or an electrical supply warehouse strongly preferred
• Familiarity with electrical materials such as conduit, fittings, wire, boxes, panels, breakers, and related supplies is a plus
• Experience safely driving a pickup truck and pulling/backing a trailer
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload materials
• Ability to lift and move electrical materials and supplies throughout the workday
• Dependable transportation and strong attendance
• Must be able to work independently and follow delivery instructions
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must meet the employer’s background-check requirements, consistent with applicable law

We’re looking for someone who understands that this position is more than just driving a truck. You’ll be an important part of keeping our electrical crews supplied and productive.

Someone with previous experience in an electrical warehouse, electrical supply house, or electrical construction environment would be an excellent fit. Perfect position for a retiree looking to make some extra income.
