Concrete Formwork Fabricator​/Shop Technician

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Concrete Formwork Fabricator / Shop Technician to join our team full-time. This position will work primarily in our shop building and preparing wall forms used for concrete construction projects.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and construction materials, and able to accurately build forms according to project requirements. When not working on formwork, this person will assist with general shop operations, including organizing materials, preparing equipment, loading and unloading, and helping keep the shop clean and efficient.

• Build, assemble, modify, and prepare wall forms for concrete construction projects
• Read measurements, drawings, layouts, and/or instructions to accurately fabricate forms
• Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and assemble materials using hand and power tools
• Inspect forms and materials for quality and accuracy before they are sent to the jobsite
• Repair and maintain reusable formwork as needed
• Organize and prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist with inventory and general material handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop
• Perform other shop-related duties as needed

• Experience with carpentry, concrete formwork, fabrication, construction, or a related trade is preferred
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work from dimensions or drawings
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving construction materials
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
